Strategic planning of economic security in the republic of Mari El: analysis and prospects until 2036

The article examines forecasting and planning mechanisms for ensuring regional economic security, using the Republic of Mari El as a case study. Analysis of the Development Strategy until 2036 revealed key risks: demographic decline, labor shortages, and investment constraints. The role of scenario forecasting and program-target planning in neutralizing threats is substantiated. Practical significance lies in assessing the effectiveness of strategic projects aimed at ensuring the financial and labor security of the region.
