Abstract

The article is devoted to identifying the role of knowledge and information in the economy from the perspective of the Austrian school of Economics. The article presents the types of knowledge allocated by "Austrian" economists, the role of entrepreneurship and competition in the creation of new knowledge and the value of the price mechanism as a tool for information transfer and coordination.
