Abstract

In the context of Russia's transition to a market economy, the sphere of transport management has undergone serious transformations. The article analyzes the basic principles of transport management in a market economy, the effectiveness of the combination of market mechanisms and state regulation in the transport sector. The concepts of the transport system and the transport market, competition and innovation in the transport sector, the principles of transport management in the new realities are explored.
